LED’s Office of International Commerce (OIC) event calendar provides an opportunity for Louisiana companies and economic development partners to participate in our initiatives focused on attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) and increasing international trade. Join us as we market Louisiana around the world. 

Take Your Business Global

LED’s STEP Grant will offer travel expense reimbursements of up to 75 percent for new-to-export companies and up to 50 percent for market-expansion companies, for total assistance of up to $5,555 per company for attending export-related trade missions. Companies may qualify to receive funds for events not listed below. Learn more and apply.


Offshore Europe / September 2017 / UK

September 5-8, 2017 / Aberdeen, UK

Offshore Europe is organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and attracts a global audience of engineers, technical specialists, industry leaders and experts to share ideas and debate current issues in the upstream oil and gas industry. Its 2015 conference drew over 1,500 exhibitors and 63,000 visitors.

Offshore North Sea (ONS) / August 2018 / Norway

ONS has developed with the times. Originally targeting companies with operations in the North Sea basin, it now hosts approximately 70,000 visitors and 1,200 exhibitors from around the world in nine separate exhibition halls. ONS’ 2018 theme is Innovate.

The Aviation Forum Hamburg has developed into a key platform for Airbus, where it connects with global suppliers and partners to discuss and present future perspectives and directions for the global aerospace industry. Louisiana Advantage – Roadmap to Success is an investment seminar to educate European companies on the positive business landscape of the State of Louisiana. This seminar will allow European companies to gain insights into the distinct advantages Louisiana has to offer. Topics of discussion will include incentives and the United States No. 1 customized workforce development training program, LEDFastStart. The audience will then hear about the state’s robust infrastructure from members of the port. Finally, a firsthand success story will be heard from one of the state’s top investors currently enjoying the benefits of locating in Louisiana.

Paris Air Show / June 2019 / France

The International Paris Air Show is an international aviation and aerospace exhibition, which is organized every two years by the SIAE, a subsidiary of GIFAS, the French Aerospace Industries Association. It is one of the oldest and largest air shows in the world. Here the newest technologies of the aerospace industry and related equipment, such as aircraft engines, satellite navigation technology, aircraft cabins and seats and weapons systems will be presented. Over the years this show has become one of the most important international platforms in the industry.
