Gov. Edwards And CSRA Executive John Dancy Announce 300-Job Customer Engagement Center In Bossier City

While supporting federal customers, center will provide future talent for CSRA Integrated Technology Center

BOSSIER CITY, La. — Today, Gov. John Bel Edwards and CSRA Chief Information Officer John Dancy announced CSRA will establish a Customer Engagement Center in Bossier City to support the next-generation IT solutions and professional services provided by the company. CSRA will create 300 new direct jobs supporting federal customers through the project, and LED estimates the project will result in 131 new indirect jobs, for a total of more than 430 new jobs in Northwest Louisiana. The new direct jobs will receive an average annual salary of $22,000, as well as a health-care benefits package valued at $4.27 per hour, which employees will have the option of replacing with cash compensation. 

The Customer Engagement Center will be located in the Capital One Building at 301 Benton Road in Bossier City. CSRA plans to hire 150 positions within the first year, occupying the first floor of the office. The company will extend customer service operations into the second floor of the Capital One Building in mid-2017 and reach employment of 300 positions within 24 months. CSRA was formed through the combination of CSC’s North American Public Sector business and SRA International in November 2015. Also in Bossier City, the CSRA Integrated Technology Center – a new 96,000-square-foot facility announced by CSC in February 2014 – will open in late 2016 at the National Cyber Research Park. The ITC project will create an additional 800 new direct jobs.

Many of the roles created by the new CSRA Customer Engagement Center will be geared for entry-level applicants but be positioned for advancement. At the center, CSRA will encourage training and educational opportunities to support customer service representatives and position them over time for advancement to the 800-job CSRA Integrated Technology Center. Those training efforts will assist the company in its mission to recruit and retain talent in Northwest Louisiana.

LED began discussing the Customer Engagement Center project with CSRA in August 2015. To secure the project, the State of Louisiana offered the company a competitive incentive package that includes the comprehensive solutions of LED FastStart® – the nation’s top-ranked state workforce development program.
