The Mission
Excella is an Agile technology firm that specializes in artificial intelligence and modern software delivery, analytics and organizational transformation. The Virginia-based company was founded 20 years ago with the mission to create modern, meaningful technology solutions for federal agencies, brands and nonprofits and has grown into a 300-person remote-flexible firm with locations in high-potential tech markets across the nation.
The Challenge
Excella sought to establish a talent hub in New Orleans to expand its software development team.

Noteworthy
- Not only is Excella hiring in Louisiana, it has also taken an active role in exposing and growing tech communities in the state. In 2023, to help foster tech growth, Excella partnered with and invested in Louisiana-based organizations and events such as NOLAvate, Operation Spark and SQL Saturday. In addition, Excella sponsored local meetups and groups, such as Agile NOLA, Work in Tech, and Front-End Party. Excella will continue these partnerships in 2024 and find new avenues to expose all the great work that comes from Louisiana citizens.
